Where cards fall with domino dot precision
I yet may walk in random patterns and be safe.

The same light that burns lines into my face
Falls softly on the lake -
Where ripples peel across the surface
Like curled paint flakes

From the ocean i produced in my head last night
And the river that runs through my blood

And the song that plays in all water
Since the great flood
Crying to stay on the earth
For as long as it’s still a world.
